Term two writing: recount

When I went to the South Island. I slept in a campervan I slept in it for one night at Christchurch. Up in the top of the campervan there is a four double bed. And at the bottom there is a two bed. Mum Rhys Cerys and Briar slept up the top but I had to sleep down the bottom with dad. When we were going along the road it was so bumpy, bouncy. Every time dad was driving and I was asleep every time he went over a bump I would wake up. When mum go something out of the fridge she forgot to shut it and it kept on opening up. When we slept the night we watched chicken run and Madagascar. 

I want to improve my writing by putting full stops and capital letters in correctly.
